Another year ending soon

Mood

Beh song.... why is everyone on leave except for me....

Yes, I know I know. I haven't been blogging much. Not for lack of things to write. It's more of new interest keeping me occupied. New interest in the name of Facebook games. Specifically Restaurant City, Farmville, Happy Aquarium, Happy Island and Bejewel Blitz...and thus I am sure some of you would have the below in mind.

Readers: What? Facebook is more important than updating your blog!? Take this - **punch punch, smack smack, kick kick~~~

Me: Ouch Ouch... Anywhere but the face... anywhere but the face....

And so, here I am spewing out random thoughts to keep you guys happy. By the way you must see the mega farm that I have now... (Readers: Groan~~~). Ok enough of Facebook. Will post them later. Kah kah kah...

Christmas come and Christmas go, among my numerous gifts, I got myself 2 cup warmers and 2 coasters. Love them all but only got one mug. So I have establish a schedule of sorts

- Monday, Cup warmer 1,

- Tuesday use coaster 1,

- Wednesday use Cup warmer 2

- Thursday use coaster 2

- Friday - current coaster.

I am nothing if not organized. I thought all this out when I was about to fall asleep yesterday night.

I went to watch 2 movies too, Sherlock and Avatar. Both superb in their own way. Sherlock Holmes has always been my idol. I worshipped his brain to this very day. But they kinda twist the story a bit and of all people they put Robert D Jr (Ironman) as Sherlock. Now I can never read Sherlock Holmes the same way again. And Watson, who in the sane mind cast Jude Law as Watson, he is entirely too handsome for that role. I'll let you know the real Watson is fat. They should at least stuff 2 pillows inside Jude Law so that he look more like Watson. But I like Sherlock even though he is handsome and charming and rougish. When you like someone, you like his flaws too.

Avatar, I admire the graphics, the details, the shooting techniques, the humour, everything. After watching it I also feel like painting myself blue and put glow powder on me. They are just SOOO COOL...... There is some serious creativity going there! No wonder it took 15 years to complete it. Guess James Cameron is a super perfectionist. Unfortunately, he can never work in any of my company projects. The stakeholders will perform mass suicide on the spot if one project took 15 years to complete. No doubt it will be perfect but my boss will probably loss all his hair if he had any, if I told him I need 15 years to complete my current project. Perfection is never one of the deliverables in our projects. Sad but true.

This brings me to my current predicament/fix/problem whatever. The project sort of lost control and I am basically riding the waves. It ain't as cool as it sounds. It means, work takes twice the effort to complete not to mention the project manager is not listening to reason right now and the Test Manager is being Fedex all the way from Canada and will only arrive on the shores of Lion City on Jan 4. There is the Chinese saying - wait for him to save me-dead already. They will probably give him my big fat corpse as a souvenir on the first day he come. Ah sordid....

Behold the Superior Ipoh wantan noodle.. I miss it so much.
